Van Pugh North Park is just half a mile away and has a whole host of amenities to help you make the most of your vacation. The designated swim area and beach give your group plenty of space to enjoy Georgia’s sunny days. Splash around in the cool, refreshing water, or lie out on the beach with your favorite book and simply soak up some rays. Van Pugh has some beautiful walking trails around the lake, and there’s a boat dock and boat rental. There are many picnic tables and grills for visitors to make use of, and the large picnic pavilion is a great spot for al fresco lunches. Little visitors will love the playgrounds, and adults will appreciate the spectacular views of Lake Lanier.
